A little history on the ring, but don't quote me on the specifics-I might get it wrong. It's Arthur's paternal grandmother's ring. His dad wanted him to have the ring. His mom has told me many stories about the special relationship Arthur and his grandmother had, so it makes me proud to be the one to wear it. His grandparents were married in 1925, so we know it was made before then. Arthur tells me it is a mine cut diamond and it is made out of palladium. If you're like me and have no clue what all that means, you'll at least notice it is cut and set differently than diamonds today!
