watch the paper

I emailed out the engagement/wedding announcement to several papers yesterday. I have not taken care of the Meridian Star, who wants to charge me an arm and a leg to do it. The Mobile Press Register sent me a confirmation email today saying it would appear in their May 11th edition. So, all you Mobile people need to save us a copy of the paper that day! :)
Time is running out and I feel like the list is not dwindling down of things that need to be done.
BTW-My musicians cancelled on me. I am so ready to get this over with so that maybe things will stop going wrong! hahah
The bed finally arrived today. After two weeks of alternating sleeping on the couch and an air mattress, I will be glad to have a nice comfy bed again. Now if I could just afford to get the air conditioning fixed upstairs.......
Well, I think that's all the updates for now. I'm still taking applications for servers (cake, punch, desserts, etc), decorators, clean up crew, and musicians. Those interested in filling any of these positions can send their resume to ARTHUR!!!!! (or me too, I guess!)

Shower May 4

Donna Furrow will be hosting a shower at her house on Sunday, May 4 at 1:30 pm for family and friends of Fulton Baptist Church. Kristi is supposed to be trying again to schedule a shower for the friends of ASCC, this time for May 10. My dad bought my full size bed for Jeff, so I've been without a bed the last week. It's starting to take its toll on me. We should have a new bed arriving in the next week. We have sheets and a bedspread for it, but we still need king size pillows, a mattress pad, etc. But I will certainly be glad when it arrives and look forward to hopefully better nights of rest. It looks like we'll be taking baseball photography pictures up until the day before the wedding, and it's already about to send me over the edge. I'm hoping the stress levels will go down come June! It's hard to believe that it's all just over a month away.

I guess I uploaded the photos backwards, but you get the idea! Arthur wasn't the photographer of the day since he had to leave beforehand to go to another workshop. They are not the most flattering photos I've ever taken but as you know that turned out to be my horrible, terrible, no good, rotten day so I wasn't at my best. I didn't upload all the casual shots of who attended, because I didn't know if everyone wanted their photos posted across the internet! :)

marriage license

Well, we went to Atlanta last week and got the marriage license. We have to get married in Fulton County, GA now on May 21. We still haven't decided on an exact location to do the deed, but we have a couple of outdoor spots on the list. I have pictures to upload but who knows when I'll find the time to post them since I'm already on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
